1. Mencoder from Medubuntu repositories is required.

Please follow the instructions here to add the Medubuntu repositories BEFORE installing Mobile Media Converter. Also, you can install the Mencoder package seperately from here.

2. Mobile Media Converter on Ubuntu 11.10.

If you had Mobile Media Converter installed and you have upgrated to Ubuntu 11.10, you may encounter problems with Mencoder. Please redownload and reinstall the package, after the upgrade to Ubuntu 11.10.

3. Trying to install on Ubuntu 11.04 / 11.10, with the latest Ubuntu Software Centre.

You may encounter the above message while trying to install Mobile Media Converter. We ensure you that our package will not create any problems in your system. 4. Trying to install on 64-bit Ubuntu.
